You cat people are crazy.
I just got back from visiting my folks and they had received a few inches of snow. Their cat, Spencer, wanted to go out. My mother opens the door, the cat looks at the snow, takes a few steps out into it, changes his mind comes back in. Mind you the door is open this whole time heating the great outdoors. Of course, you guessed it once inside the cat wants out again. So open door and wait. Watch cat test snow with paw, wait some more. Cat changes mind, comes back in, shut door. So what does my mother do? She SHOVELS A FRIGGIN' PATHto the garage (where Spencer likes to hang out) for the damn cat! Like I said, you cat people are crazy!

3. your mom is a lovely lady
not crazy at all. It's people who don't understand cats whose sensibilities are so threatened.

6. I mix up 3 different kinds of food
the way she likes, take her for swims in her favorite swimming holes, fluff her bed, growl into her neck (she likes it), play tug of war, and pick all the ticks and fleas off by hand. My dog, I love her.

9. Neither do I. I'm not a cat person, but I'd do the same for my dog.
A pet is like a child to us animal lovers.

She only goes out on a leash. Too many coyotes around here.

10. Now... don't get me wrong, I hate cats, but that was SWEET...
after all, we are charged with their care... so... if they've decided to live in our house(s) then we have to do those things for them.

15. My cats don't leave the house.
If I can help it. My fixed cat always tries to run out but the one who is still intact never does. Weird.
