An intriguing article, if true or not.
Okay, so it's a Rense.com article. Still, it's a fascinating read. It's the stuff of classic science fiction, and it's the kind of thing I'll never grow tired of reading.

Big Machines Parked In Orbit -
Black Ops, Star Wars Or ET?
Or All Of The Above?

By Jeff Rense
12-12-7

What you are about to see is quite remarkable. It seems that some of the stars above us are not stars at all...as you shall see. A young man by the name of John Lenard Walson has discovered a new way to extend the capabilities of small telescopes and has been able to achieve optical resolutions - at almost the diffraction limit - not commonly achievable. With this new-found ability, he has proceeded to videotape, night and day, many strange and heretofore unseen objects in earth orbit. The resulting astrophotographic video footage has revealed a raft of machines, hardware, satellites, spacecraft and possibly space ships which otherwise appear as 'stars'...if they appear at all.

There are, indeed, hundreds of satellites in Earth orbit as you will read in the summary which follows. However, the iamges you will see are clearly of large and sizeable machines which have not been seen before.

1. He had me interested until he brought up the black helicopters...

...and then made me laugh when he began talking about receiving signals from these "spacecraft."

The main page convinces me that he's just another blurry-photo salesman.

edit: some of his "video footage" is simple pans over whatever the hell his still photos show.

2. If this were true, wouldn't there be more articles by professional astronomers?
Just sayin'

3. He figured a way to "hear" these sats?

While I have no doubt that what is up there is far more than we know about, I don't think he's got it. He possibly does have pics of the shuttle and the ISS. The ISS is very visible from the ground.

But he doesn't say where and when he was looking at these things. If this were true, he'd be giving info so other skygazers could find these things too.

4. Yeah, that's pretty much a deal breaker.

I know it's all unlikely as hell to be true. But I still enjoy the concept- I AM waiting for the Mothership to pick ME up, after all- and it's overdue!
