"I am Legend" was awesome!

I really enjoyed it. A friend and I went to see it tonight. I thought it was a good movie and as usual Will Smith did an excellent job of acting. He is such a great actor.

1. My nephew is a student at NYU. He was one of many

people hired to work on the set keeping people off the closed-off streets of NYC during filming early one Sunday morning. He enjoyed the experience, though he did suffer some verbal abuse from people upset that they couldn't get through.

In addition to being a good actor, Will Smith is apparently also a nice guy. I have a friend whose daughter attended school with his older son for a few years. He would throw incredibly lavish birthday parties and invite the whole class plus all of the parents. One year the party was aboard a yacht. Another time he tranformed his backyard into a huge carnival. He was always a gracious host.

2. I saw it tonight, too. Very intense movie and Will was great.
