digging out

last night my sister and I shoveled our entire, long, driveway at 10 pm as we had to go out for medicine.....then the car got stuck....we finally got it moving and the roads, even at midnight....had not been touched by a plow....we slid right into a snowbank turned around and went right home....no medicine. This morning I woke up early and dug out the top right of the driveway so my mother could get to work.....10 mins after I finished our plow guy called to see if we needed help..:rolleyes: Needless to say.....I hurt.

How is digging out going for all you mass folks....did you make it to work today?

I do NOT miss shoveling snow. People out here in the Bay Area often ask me if I miss snow (I'm from Vermont) and say how much they'd love living in it. HA!!! is my usual reply.

Snow would be lovely if it only fell on lawns and hillsides but when you have to deal with it on a daily basis, as well as the bundling up, the warming of the car, the scraping of the windshield, etc., it gets old fast.

I can drive to snow. Here, this is on me - :toast:
