Anyone besides me having trouble finding cat vaccines in their area?:banghead:

We can't get Feline Focus Five into Billings anymore...can get something called 'Pro-tex', but it doesn't have the anti-leukemia serum in it. One place sells the serum, but only in flats of 50 at a time- no idividual doses.

"Well, badgerpup, why don't you just take your cats to the vet then? I'm SURE they have the serum...":dunce:
Yup, they surely do, and my vets are wonderful human beings. But it costs me $35 per cat if I take them in, what with office visit...and even though they give me a break on a multi-cat visit, $60 is a LOT of money for me. It's more cost-effective to give them the shots myself and save The Vet Visits :scared: for the BIG stuff (and the rabies shots...can't do that myself, because it's live virus).

So, what I'm on about. Found the Feline Focus Five* in single doses at an online store called Shop.com.

They seem to be a whole big bunch of different stores banded together...they went through UPCO Pet Supply for my piddly little order of two doses.
Will let you know how fast it gets here...and my little Wimsey can FINALLY be protected against leukemia as well as the other stuff.

The Pro-tex I was able to obtain covers everything except the Feline Leukemia.

Lost one of the coolest cats I ever had to leukemia when he was only four years old. That was one too many.

Not sure which 'it' you mean...

Feline Focus Five was what my vet used for for the cats who tested neg for leukemia virus and whose staff owners wanted them to have the vaccination. I started buying the vaccine at a ranch supply store when my guys needed their shots, but it was going to cost me $90 that I didn't have by going to the vet.
I did have the $25.50 for just the vaccines and DIY.
There was a 3-in-1 for rhinotracheitis, chlamydia, and panleukopenia available as well.
Think it was called Focus Three, but don't remember for certain.

For the on-line shopping site...I received acknowledgment of my order within half-hour of placing it and the statement that it would ship TODAY...and a Fed-ex tracking ticket for my merchandise 10 minutes later.
Looks pretty good so far...
