Are telemarketers allowed to call at this hour?

8:15 on a Sunday morning, we get a call and the NRA pops up on caller ID. I picked up the phone hoping to yell at them but the line was dead.

2. There is. It's caller ID with call block.

If you have an unknown number and call a phone with call block, you get a message that 'this subscriber does not accept calls from unknown sources. Please unblock your number and try again'.

They can legally call between the hours of 8am and 9pm, your time. I learned about that when I had a foreign telemarketer who'd call at 1:30am to sell pharmaceuticals.
