Anyone familiar with Wiki software?

I wanna play. Looking for a stand-alone Wiki program, not one that is internet based. I'd love to set up an internal company network Wiki for use by the engineering dept.

at the last place I worked.

But it was internet based because they wanted our readers/customers to participate.

edit: The only way you could make your Wiki private is to have it on a separate server that doesn't have net access. And make people register then decide who gets read/write privileges.
