Mom Laboured on Labour Day. Now all of you folks with a birthday on a holiday.....get off your pity potty. Try having a birthday on the last summer holiday. I never got to have friends over for a party cause they were all out of town and my family would be on 'family vacation'. I spent my 18th birthday fishing-yes fishing. I didn't even get a beer. Dad bitched at me for painting my nails black-I told him I was in mourning. Mom thought I was a hoot. Short changed on presents and parties-I have been scared for life.
