Men: If You Sport A Ponytail Your Likely To Win
sorry to all the folically challenged.

<snip>

LONDON (Reuters) - Pony-tails appear to be a guarantee of success for sportsmen at the moment with flame-haired Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez leading the way.

Jimenez, who won the Johnnie Walker Classic in Bangkok on Sunday hours after pony-tailed tennis player Roger Federer stormed to victory at the Australian Open (news - web sites) in Melbourne, believes fashion individuality is important in the sporting arena.

"Two years ago, I decided to let my hair grow and I try to be a little different on the tour," the 40-year-old Jimenez told reporters at the Alpine Golf and Sports Club course after clinching his eighth European Tour title.

"It's a kind of fashion statement in a place (a sport) where everyone has the same haircut and the same everything.

1. Whaaa???
I was on the Golf Team in High School, senior year.

I had hair down to my ass, and I never broke a hundred.

8. Ditto for me
I've always preferred long hair on men. Although I did cut my husband's hair for him last night - but it was halfway down his back and I only cut it to a little past his shoulders, just so it's a bit more manageable for him.

I have hair down to my hips myself. Mostly because I don't know what else to do with it, and I miss it every time I cut it off.
