After the tons of food I consumed over the past 2 days, I only gained 1 lb.!

It's unbelievable! I usually never do this, but I ate so much that my stomach was ripping itself out of my body and flogging me with my esophagus.

1. and I gained 2 this week and was fairly careful. That steak from last

weekend caught up with me, that's what it was!

I was not surprised, I was feeling fat, and I am not getting my walking done these days

2. It was WONDERFUL

I miss Kansas so much. We went to my parents' and sister's graves, ate Thanksgiving dinner at Ryan's (we love that place, although many people turn up their noses at it!) and then crashed at the hotel. Yesterday I did some shopping at a little gift shop in Wichita that I love, and we went to visit my friend Patti and her family in Douglass, Kansas before heading to our friends' house in Ark City. They didn't tell any other friends we were coming, so it was a big surprise, which was fun.

4. I did, there wre 29 people at my nephew's house for Thanksgiving

dinner. This of course includes several small children but still 29 ! We had fun, ate too much and enjoyed being together.

6. I didn't give that dinner a chance to settle in and make itself comfortable.

I ran a 5K race on Thanksgiving day, swam a mile the next day, and ran 6.5 miles today. It's GONE, baby.

7. My Thanksgiving dinner was light, but I chose to go that way

given everything they put out in front of me that night. The stuffing was phenomenal, though..and that was the only second helping of anything
