EXPERTS, please weigh in... what do you know about bird flu?

Specifically, the flu that is cause of concern in SE Asia at the moment.

Medical info, anything technical, lay terminology... whatever you can contribute, please do so.

I know that cutting funds from the CDC definately does not help us in our fight to contain these horrible diseases.
