A public apology for not donating to DU (right now).

We are just now recovering from the two-week enforced vacation that my husband had (read: one manager fired him and then was forced to re-hire him two weeks later) and are trying to pay up all the bills we fell behind on.

I also have six cousins in one family with assorted children of their own and two parents to buy obligatory Xmas gifts for, since uncle is the exector of the trust that my house is in. (read: play nice!! not that that's hard, they are cool people).

I am anticipating being able to donate after Xmas...

I assume people give as they are able. Me, I gave but not a huge amount. And there have been times when I couldn't. There will be a time when I can give quite a bit more, and I will.

We do what we can. It's all good.

Of course not. "Right now" being the important words here, it seems.
