1. Oh yeah
Lots of times! Easy breezy. I screen who I sell to, and if they seem shady on the phone I tell them I have someone lined up ahead of them but I'll give them a call if that falls through. I've never had a problem, and have met some pretty cool people.

2. Yes.
It worked out ok sometimes, other times I couldn't answer my phone for a few weeks. Oh wait. I never answer my phone.

5. Worked great, but don't ask me about the date I had from there...
I sold my stuff just fine, material goods that is, but when it came to meeting up with someone from there.....
Well, let's just say he claimed to be a genetic experiment and everything went down from that point on.

10. lots of times, and i'll never sell my own stuff any other way
we've sold stuff, bought stuff, rented an apartment and a house, and given away free trash on craigslist, and it's been easy and 99.9% hassle-free.

highly recommended.

13. How do you usually accept payment?
I noticed that they say there are a lot of scams taking people's money through cashier's check or money order.

I have someone wanting to buy my furniture and he says he lives in London but gave a Vermont address. He said he would send a "courier" to deliver the cashier's check and once I received payment he would send the moving company to pick up the furniture...

:wtf:

14. 1. Local 2. Cash 3. They get their stuff when I get their money. No sooner, no later.
Anything else is likely a scam. But honest people will stick to those rules, no problem.
