3. I just finished the first one Saturday night.
I'm not a big fan of fantasy (outside of Robert E. Howard) so it was a little tough for me to get into the first 100 pages or so.But he writes so damn good, and the characters were so well thought out that it was impossible not to appreciate it.How can anyone not like Bran and Tyrion?

I ended up really enjoying the book, and look forward to the rest.
