It gets so quiet here this time of day

I'm still bouncing on sugar and caffein, and my painkillers make me talkative, but almost everyone is gone. :cry:

15. I'm getting psyched up for the game tonight

More aptly, I'm getting nervous about it. It's the 100th annual Prune Bowl — Hollister High vs. Gilroy High; a huge rivalry, not only between schools, but between towns. Gilroy needs it to clinch the league championship and Hollister to secure a playoff berth.

There'll be a ton o' people there, and I don't like crowds, especially if I gotta be right in the middle of 'em. :(

Weekend plans include taking Egypt to the vet and to obedience class tomorrow in the morning, a lazy afternoon to watch "Wellstone" and Sunday is football day.

Oh - and I am cooking some yummy enchiladas tonight and red lentil daal tomorrow. :bounce:

I have figured out part of why today is going so well. The work I'm doing today doesn't involve talking to other people. It's all database work. So I'm plugged in listening to music all day.

It's keeping my energy up, and I'm working to the rhythms, so I'm keeping up a pretty good pace. No wonder I'm having such a productive day.

I wish I could do this more often. :)
