the sun is dripping blood
and the train terminals start out normal, but the scene is gray. there is a sense of urgency to board.

planets and moons are larger than they normally would be in the sky, a strange perspective, something that inspires preternatural fear.

the stations along the line are vaguely familiar. they are as they should be, but subways don't form labyrinthine chambers and levels at your whim. the world isn't an extension of your mind, but it becomes that.

then all of sudden the train stops. a derelict caboose sits on the siding on the approach to some city and hippies welcome you. but everyone is afraid of the rail police.
