10. stay alert Ellen
There's fresh fire above Mulholland near Piuma Road. @ 7:00 pm.
If you're near Calabasas highlands near upper Mulholland, watch out. If you're near Las Virgenes, it could come that way as well.

VERY smoky in my neck of the woods (Sunset Hills, Thousand Oaks) Fire was about 5 miles away at one point but it's out they said.
There's something N of Fillmore that is making tons of smoke.
Our trailer in Paradise Cove is on watch but no immediate threat.

4. I don't know if there are any Malibu Loungers.
I was out in the Valley today and you can easily see the smoke rising above the north hills.

My best to all involved.

San Diego-
Fire to the N - the E and the S - West is the ocean (duh) We are about 7 miles inland. Our house is okay for now - no flames in sight but lots of smoke.
We are about a mile from Qualcomm Stadium where the main evacuation site is. We have our stuff loaded in case we are told to leave.

22. Thanks for checking in.
I guess the wind direction makes all the difference in the world right now.

It's so strange--Seattle has pretty much set into the soggy autumn. We finally had a sunny day here, and it's a little hard to get my mind around such dry weather.

15. Santa Barbara
No worries here unless a new fire starts.

It's not windy here at all though, so we wouldn't have the problems much of the rest of SoCal is having. Hopefully.
