Just finished watching Whale Rider. OMG! What a fantastic movie! And the 12-year-old girl, Keisha Castle-Hugues, absolutely deserves her Best Actress nomination, if only for the "speech" scene in the auditorium.

Incredibly moving, incredibly written and directed, and incredibly well-acted.

I don't think I'll be getting my movie advice from you anymore, Lynnesin! :spank:

Evan Rachel Woods RULED in thirteen. She went from a pigtailed kid to an out-of-control 13 year old, but the best was at the end when she realized that her world was coming crashing down around her - she had me feeling her pain.
