they weren't gold but back in the olden days that's what the coffee sticks looked like at McD's. They stopped making them that way back in the 80s I think.

5. I totally japed a friend who worked at McD's

with one o' those years ago.

Another guy and I went to see him (we were all in a band together), and we got cups of McDonald's 18-bazillion-degree coffee while we waited for him to come out on his break. I took the spoon from mine, broke the end off and melted it with my lighter.

When he came out, I was stirring my coffee. When I took out the spoon, his eyes got the size of truck tires. :D
