Bond was set at $600,000 Tuesday for a 58-year-old woman charged with fatally shooting her long-time live-in boyfriend during a Sunday morning dispute over pornography in their South Side home.

Jeanette Strowder is charged with the murder of Jesse Martin, Chicago Police said Monday. She appeared Tuesday before Cook County Criminal Court Associate Judge Raymond Myles, who set bond at $600,000, according to Cook County State's Attorney's office spokesman Andy Conklin.

On Sunday morning, Strowder allegedly found at least one CD with nude photos of women and confronted Martin in their home about 10 a.m. She then allegedly got a gun and shot him multiple times, including twice in the head, according to prosecutors. It still seems like an odd thing to scratch unless she actually knew the model. However, judging what is or isn't "odd" for a person who blows away her boyfriend is an iffy proposition.

I'd be surprised if anyone committed murder over 'normal' porn, which is why I assume it was homemade, but there could be a lot of other things going on as well. (Or she might just have a homicidal hatred of porn.)
