Today on our local Nashville news she was once again out trying to find homes for animals from our shelter. She has been very active in helping no kill shelters and has as many as she can living in her backyard in Nashville. They had a special needs dog "Angel" (female Shepard mix) who was burned with a torch by some sadistic children. She is going to need lots of love and special care. The good news is Emmylou brought in the crowd and Angel has multiple offers of a new home and loving family.

They haven't posted any new pictures but from what I saw on the news she has recovered and just a little worse for wear. I wish I could have taken her in but I have five now and she might have trouble fitting into the pack.

In two weeks. A couple of years ago, I was flirting with her while she was checking out some other bands during HSBG. So funny, Then it dawned on me who she was and I turned into a total fan....

She is a very beuatiful person. I think my favorite thing she ever did was sing backup for The Band on Evangeline on the Last waltz. Pure heaven.
