Do you remember?
Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in september
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love that we shared in September.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

1. Every man has a place, in his heart theres a space,
Every man has a place, in his heart there's a space,
And the world can't erase his fantasies
Take a ride in the sky, on our ship fantasii
All your dreams will come true, right away

And we will live together, until the twelfth of never
Our voices will ring forever, as one

Every thought is a dream, rushing by in a stream,
Bringing life to our kingdom of doing
Take a ride in the sky, on our ship fantasii
All your dreams will come true, miles away

Our voices will ring together until the twelfth of never,
We all, will live forever, as one

Come see victory, in the land called fantasy
Loving life, a new decree,
Bring your mind to everlasting liberty

Our minds will explore together, old worlds, we conquer, forever
We then, will expand love together, as one

Come to see, victory in a land called fantasy,
Loving life, for you and me, to behold, to your soul is ecstasy
You will find, other kind, that has been in search for you,
Many lives has brought you to
Recognize its your life, now in review
And as you stay for the play, fantasy, has in store for you,
A glowing light will see you through

Its your day, shining day, all your dreams come true
As you glide, in your stride with the wind, as you fly away
Give a smile, from your lips, and say
I am free, yes Im free, now Im on my way

8. Fantasy is another one of my favorites
and this one - I love these guys :-)

Maurice White, Charles Stepney & Verdine White

Hearts of fire creates love desire
Take you high and higher to the world you belong
Hearts of fire creates love desire
High and higher to your place on the throne

We’ve come together on this special day
To sing our message loud and clear
Looking back we’ve touched on sorrowful days
Future pass, they disappear

You will find peace of mind
If you look way down in your heart and soul
Don’t hesitate ‘cause the world seems cold
Stay young at heart ‘cause you’re never (never, never, ..) old at heart

That’s the way of the world
Plant your flower and you grow a pearl
A child is born with a heart of gold
The way of the world makes his heart so cold

4. I absolutely love EW&F!
I love the trumpet, I love the singing, I love the lyrics, I love it all.

Ok so it brings back memories, but still - I think it's just awesome music.

10. Um, hell yeah.
I love those guys.

Oooh! and after the love game has been played,
All our illusions were just a parade,
And all the reasons start to fade...

:D

11. You are wise beyond your years
:-)

I saw them in Las Vegas once and one thing I noticed was the wide range of ages and culures of the people. They definitely appeal to a wide variety of folks.

12. They're really cool because they're funkified, but still musicians.
Not total sellouts, and their music is musically interesting--fun to play as well as listen to.

14. I've been listening to them since the mid 70s and haven't stopped
Gratitude is still one of my favorites albums.

You're right on the description which is why they can have fans from so many walks of life.

13. I remember the song
but did not recognize the lyrics at all. One of those songs I never knew the words to. Not a song or group I have heard alot either. As a trumpet player, I always liked that band. I probably should buy one of their CDs.
