How many European countries are represented in the lounge?
I know of only 3. If you're in Europe, where? I'm holding down the Spain set personally.

2. If things keep happening the way they are, I might soon be hailing from one of them... :\
Originally I hadn't planned on bailing out, I was hoping to stay and fight the good fight. But unless the next election goes right, that may be impossible. I'm thinking maybe UK or Canada.

8. It's too bad the dollar is in the toilet.
I've already told my husband that if the 2008 elections get hijacked he is begging his British owned company for an international transfer.

11. Yeah, if I'd had money a few years ago I would have put all my savings into euros
Of course now that I actually HAVE some savings, it's too late. :\

30. Been there. I like Greece a lot...
...In addition to Athens, I've been to Corfu, Rhodes, and Faliraki. Had lots of fun in Faliraki.

9. I've got...
UK, France, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, the Vatican City under my belt but haven't been in Europe since 1985. I'm ticketed to UK and Spain in October. The excitement is about to be my undoing.

7. I'll be in Spain in October!
For exactly 23 hours. Bummer!

I'm flying from London to Vitoria and spending the night in Bilbao. Having dinner with the family of one of my previous exchange students and then flying back the next day. *sigh* I could spend a year in Spain and it wouldn't be enough.

16. Spain...
Studied abroad in college and lived in Madrid for about 6 months. Had friends in Barcelona and Sevilla at the same time. Visited all around Spain, too. Went to Salamanca while some festival was going on - can't remember what it was called, but it was Mardi Gras-ish. Oh, they light this big parade float on fire at the end. Anyway, I was sick as fuck, but it was still a kick ass time. I thought Galicia was beautiful, too. Good times. I wanna go back someday...soon.

27. When I was a teenager I was lucky enough to spend some time along...
the Costa del Sol and a few days in Seville. Then a tour that took us up through Granada, Cordoba, Toledo and then ended in Madrid/Segovia. I got to see Irun briefly as we carried our suitcases over the border thanks to a French national train strike.

9 years! Wow!

...but with prices as cheap as they are on RyanAir, how cool would a European DU meet-up be?
