Well, you guys know that my mom lost EVERYTHING in the flood.
Well, let me tell you about my day. It has gotten worse. We didn't think that was possible, but let me tell you, it did.
This morning I woke up early and drove to Kingfisher. Mom was late, so I drove to the convenience store across the street from her store to use the facilities and get a beverage. One of the girls she has work for her occasionally was there. Apparently her counter that had all the liquor she had salvaged from the flood on top of it, collapsed from the rotting wood. I guess she should have replaced it three years ago.
Then After we finished cleaning that up, I went to get something to eat at sonic. I ate, and when I went to turn on my car to go, it wouldn't do anything. Guess what? I have to buy a new car. Isn't that great?
Why is it everything is so easy for the evil people in this world, but so hard for those of us who are actually kind to our fellow man and animals? :cry:
