Oh crap... I almost killed my Roommates Guinea Pigs.

She left for vacation and left me in charge of them. She put two water bottles on the cage for them. Bottle number 1 was kinda hidden, and every time I checked them bottle number 2 was full. I assumed the were still drinking from bottle #1. Bottle #1 isn't really visible without pulling it out to see. Well, bottle #2 was broken and water wouldn't come out.

Now I know why they have been strange for a few days. I bet they went 2+ days without water. They drank an entire bottle in about 30 minutes when I filled it up after my discovery. I think I might need to change the cage in the morning..

I'm just glad it has been cold here for the last few days..

I'd like to know if your room-mate knew that bottle was broken! I am guessing probably not. Poor thangs - they should be OK now.

She didn't know that it was broken. She had told me that she added a extra one because she knows I am a twit that forgets everything.
