I just saw a documentary, that actually made me tear up.
On VH1, "The USA Vs. John Lennon."

It was at the end I ended up having my eyes mist up.

The right-wing couldn't silence him by deporting him, so a fundy whacko killed him. :-(

1. I just sat and watched it myself. Nixon was something else. We couldn't
believe at that time that people like him and henchmen could ever end up running this country.

Shit, were we stupid. Look at what we have now. I wonder what Lennon would think about this current administration. He had guts and courage of his convictions, you have to say that. Even if you don't like his music, you have to applaud his integrity. (I loved the Beatles, still do to this day. And Lennon was my favorite.)

He truly was a hero. A man that wouldn't back down for anything, not if he knew he was right. He made a whole administration shiver and quake in their boots.

We need another Lennon. And we need him now.
