I dreamed last night that a friend who passed away years ago came to visit, just knocked on the door
like any normal person.

I told her that I was glad to see her but she was dead, how did she manage to get back for visit.

She said that every dead person was given 5 visits to friends and family, I was one of her five visits.

We had a great visit but she had to leave at 2 am, not later.

Anyway we had a great time, she was really enjoying watching her favorite movie on DVD.

At 2 am she walked to door and said goodby and left, she just disappeared outside by the time I got there.

What a strange dream.

1. wow, gave me chills
I have recurrent dreams about one of my best friends who died in only slightly mysterious circumstances...

I see him in dreams and he is alive, and has never been dead but we only thought he was.

When he died he had a memorial service and his body was not at the funeral nor was he cremated, his body was in basically cold storage at the state medical examiner's office. He fell off a cliff but his body was not directly below the cliff which made some question as to whether he was really a victim of a fall or something else made to look like that

interesting dream though TW,

don't have any idea what yours or mine mean really.

3. Pawpicker you have great dream there.
I haven't thought of this friend for years, she has been gone for almost 20 years now.

Sorry about your friend, did anyone ever find out if he was a victim or just fell?

5. As far as I know it is a split camp
the official story is a fall

the unofficial story is that he came upon someone who was cooking meth... or some other nefarious activity.

I doubt it was suicide- he was found at the bottom of a cliff that overlooked a river, beautiful place, and his body was found upstream from the bottom of the cliff. Perhaps he fell and crawled, or something else happened.

:hi:

8. The guy who gave me my dog died in a similar way.
He was riding his bike along the bayou and was found dead near the water, the police never found out if he was killed just had a accident.

A lot of drug deals were known to happen in this area so I think he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He had a head injury so it is hard to tell what happened.

2. I've been visited by people in dreams around the time they die...
It's really weird.
Also, when my nephew would have been three, I started having dreams of basically what life would have been like if my sister had lived and my nephew had been born. It was surreal, like a glimpse at what I could have had. It was really depressing for a while.

4. I am so sorry about your sister passing.
It is funny how the mind works.

I am glad I am not the only person have dreams about dead people, this dream was so real.

My friend looked real good for someone dead almost 20 years.

The funny thing is she looked twenty years older, not the age she was when she died.

6. Reminds me of dreams after mom died
In most of them I knew she was dead, and called her on it. And she soon went away in them. But she would talk to me, and I would wake up sad that she was not there.

Sometimes waking up is the nightmare :) I was so happy to see her, to talk to her, and yet I knew she was gone. And then would wake up wishing I could go back to sleep and see her again.

Those dreams have mostly faded now, but I did have one about her a few weeks ago and chatted with her.

Just not quite so hard now.

7. One of my friends had a Aunt who came to her after she died, just to let her know
she was happy and free of pain.

The Aunt had been ill from cancer and passed away about that time, so you never know what to make of dreams.
