i actually bought that Funkadelic cd after watching Dr Dre's video for Nuthin' but a G Thang back in like 1992. He has the album cover image on his shirt which he points to a few times.

Another good guitarist in the Eddie Hazel vein is Vernon Reid.

Although the whole "Maggot Brain" record is Eddie's high point as a guitar player, the solo stuffhe released after he left Funkedelic is great, too.
