NEED ADVICE on gettting concert tickets..standing in line or online?
Edited on Wed Aug-15-07 09:50 AM by lildreamer316
It's VH, and the main tickets go on sale for both the two opening shows Sat. morning. Should I have husband stand in line or should I be online to get? Which way am I most likely to get the best seats?
I am NOT buying the five star tix for ....wait for it...$550 A PEICE.
There are four star tix for $300; going on sale THIS friggin'afternoon...

10. I had multiple computers up and running to get access
and to make matters quicker - make sure you have an account already setup if the tickets are being sold through ticketmaster

2. online
I kinda miss the days of standing in line to be the first to get tickets -- especially if you knew a ticketmaster box office location that few other people knew about (in the mid-90s, mine was the box office at the theater of the United States Air Force Academy. NEVER a long line.) But those days are over. Online is infinitely faster than in line.

15. You know, given the Spinal Tap-esque trainwreck that could well occur,
it might almost be worth it. To complete the effect, I suggest they make the stage set look like a really seedy club. With about 12 people in attendance. Oh yeah, I can picture it...

6. Is it really the Van Halen that Van Halen was in 1979?

13. No, Eddie kicked him out. He was pissed that Michael went off and played
with Sammy. I heard Eddie and Alex doing an interview and Eddie was really pissy when asked that question. He said something to the effect that he didn't know what Michael was doing, but you certainly can't be in two bands and since he wasn't around and Wolfie was there, Wolfie got the job. He just couldn't come out and say, "Michael chose Sammy over me and I threw his ass out of the band for it." Eddie is a serious head case.

7. Both simultaneously
I see that Sammy is touring with Michael Anthony. Personally, while I always loved Van Halen, I've always had a soft spot for Sammy and Mikey so if I had to choose, I'd prefer to see Los Tres Gusanos.

but I will never forgive myself for not seeing Dave with Eddie.

The Sammy and Mikey tour dosen't seem to be coming anywhere near me. I'm so pissed.

12. $550 for a fucking ticket?
I don't care WHO it is, that's bullshit. You could resurrect Joe fucking Strummer and reunite The Clash and I wouldn't pay that.
