6. That happened to a lot of Kirby's series
DC didn't appreciate him... the nearsighted fools. It's why he went back to Marvel. DC, however, is still ripping off all of his concepts today.

About 1/3 of DC storylines can be traced back to a Kirby idea from his time there.

Amazing.

Two thirds of Marvel. X-Men, The Hulk, Fantastic Four... All movies from Kirby's design.

He was the King!

8. DC is having Jim Starlin close the book on Kirby's fourth world stuff
this fall in Death of the New Gods. Starlin says it will be a bookend to Jack's work

9. Starlin is an excellent storyteller
He's the man I'd pick. His work has always been in homage to Jack's since day one.
