Fake it til you make it...
...anyone every hear of this phrase? I'm trying it out, to see if it'll work for me. Example: The STBE came by this afternoon to pick up some more of his crap. As a side note, this man has more stuff than one person ought to. Anyway, we had another chat. The gist of it was, that he thinks that #1 son and his gf is being mean to me and not feeding me. I'm thinking :wtf: There's nothing wrong with the relationship between my son his gf and I. I told him he's projecting again. I said that he is obviously feeling guilty over the way he's treating me; and then projecting onto my son. Then he said that he misses me. I said, 'I'll bet you do.' :D I gave him a little gift 'to remember me by' He looked kinda misty for a minute and said he has plenty of things to remember me by. 'Well now you have one more,' said in a sweetly sarcastic voice. :7

I think it's gonna work. That and a healthy dose of sarcasm...

1. You know, one of the few upsides of divorce is you don't have to listen to horseshit any more.

11. I'm heavily medicated tonight and still in a lot of pain.
I'm sick to my stomach. If my meds can't get this under control I'll have to consider a trip to the ER.
:(

Not a good night. I'm online trying to distract myself from the pain while the meds sink in and make me stupid.

20. Why would your son and his gf be responsible for feeding you?
Does he mean they don't give you food money OR that they don't make you food?

What little gift did you give him?

So confused...... anyway- hoping today is a good daY!!!

21. My son and his GF...
...are responsible for feeding me because they have jobs, and money and I do not. The little gift was a coaster made out of plastic canvas to set his coffee mug on. Something to remember me by. His desk is real wood, and he's very fussy about putting things on it. He'll use it and think of me every time he does. After living with him for 27 years, I do know where best to stick a knife in his back, metaphorically speaking.

Today's not a good day, but I'm faking it.

But happy that your faking it.
Your right- fake it til you make it.

Do you have any job interviews lined up? Could you possibly file for spousal support?
(If you can, you should!)

24. What is the status of your son & his gf
moving? I remember last week you said they were waiting for word back on an apartment.
Did that go through?

Are you making any plans? Selling the house, moving from Toledo? What about putting the house up for rent & dividing the profit from that between you and STBE.

I hope you do look into spousal support.

Just trying to think of anything that might help you.
