Hey — I'm not sure, but I think he may be the younger brother or something of Kelvin Garnett, who used to coach Seaside High basketball (near Monterey).

5. I don't think so - Kevin Garnett grew up in either North or South Carolina
and transferred to a high school in Chicago during either his Junior or Senior year.

7. Yeah, I'm probably associating
I think I did a Kevin-Kelvin thing like it was Alvin and Calvin Harrison, the Olympic track stars-turned-criminals who lived in my home town.

It's not at all uncommon, though, for folks in Seaside to be from elsewhere, since it used to be a military town (Ft. Ord).
