23. That last picture gave me a bit of a shock.

For a split second, I thought I was looking at MY son.

The resemblance isn't that remarkable, though, once you get past the long blonde/strawberry blonde hair and the red beard thingy. The expression is similar, too.

My youngest son will be 28 in a few weeks.

I love being the mom of two grown men. I adore them as much now as I did the whole time they were growing up. All of that time is compacted for me; I can visit any point of their lives in my memory, and feel like it's today.

The older I get, the faster time goes.
