Stupidest damn thing you ever ate as a kid?
My brother (older, of course) told me dog food was good. I ate it.

I liked it.

I was four.

Damn.

35. Oh, I did that too.
The cramps I got afterward convinced me never to eat Ex-Lax again, and here it is 60 years later, and I still haven't eaten another Ex-Lax.

I also sampled some garden soil on occasion.

after a tonsillectomy: Doritos. (Before they had all these flavors; i.e., the good kind. With salt. Those will always be my faves and they'll never bring them back.)

A new set of stitches and four pints of blood later, I was as good as new -- and took home a gift: hepatitis C! Woo hoo!

All I remember is my mother standing in the bathroom putting on makeup while I threw up blood, and not liking the weird thing they gave me to barf in in the hospital.

Weird what sticks in our memories.

I also drank a shot of whiskey after they pulled them and the stitches were out. I went nuts in the middle of the bar and someone thought that I was punk rock dancing and they joined in.

About as much that would fit on the end of a 2 year old's finger. Like stickin' your finger into the new jar of peanut butter, except for the fact that it is dirt.

Tastes just like you would imagine.

27. Does "drink" count ? - if so it was INK
.
.

Ya. ok I'm "dating" myself here, but we had Inkwells in our schooldesks

youknow, Where you'd have a wee bottle with ink in it for writing

That hole on the right is for the Ink bottle

NOW - our new tables have the same idea
but they are for all them Compewter Cables !!

anyhoo, on with the story . . .

well, I was sweet on the gurl in front of me

She dared me to drink it

In desperation to "impress" her . .

I did

Surprisingly, my mouth turned blue !

Teacher, who never missed a thing, upon noticing my "deformity"

Made me go to the front of the class and stick out my tongue

So embarrasing !

(and I never got the gurl !!)
