Ruby Dee played a servant named Female. She says when she was born, the mid wife scribbled the word "female" onto the form where the name goes.

Cajun pronunciation being Fee-Molly.

I've always liked that name, and when I got Male and Female, I was told Male was a boy. Hence the names.

She really acted like a boy cat.

I didn't know she was a girl until I took her them to the vet to have them fixed.

By that time, I had had her at least three months, but still didn't want to change the name.

15. He's my little buddy..

Sleeps draped across my face, and still perches on my "aching" shoulder.. Thank goodness he's a skinny guy.. (Still weighs about 11 lbs)

He's a yr and a half and still comes running when I say "1 baby, 2 baby, 3 baby"..or when I wiggle the doorknob.. :).. That's what I used to do when they were just tiny kittens, when I wanted then to go night-night in their room..

The other two's ears perk up when I say it, but they only come running every now and then ..
