I start my new job tomorrow

After whining about it for 20 years, I finally got my teaching credentials and start my first real teaching job tomorrow! The first week is inservice stuff, the kids show up on the 11th.

I'm pretty excited about it, but very nervous just the same.

10. I'll be teaching 9 & 10th grades

Chemistry and Physics.

It's pretty upscale, RW area so I may be in trouble. I'm tempted to put a small "No W" circle on the board. But I need this job. Don't wanna get canned on my first day!

Teaching is very important, obviously, you're doing a real service for all of us.

BTW, I worked at an upscale private school a few years back and was quite pleasantly surprised to find the (limousine) liberals throwing $$$$ into the most progressive causes!

Good luck to you, but you won't need it. Yoga in the morning, remember to breathe during the day - you'll be grrrrrreat!
