11. Funny story actually. I work with a lovely woman: very nice, very intelligent, she and her

and her husband are both talented artists. Yet she's a Republican. I cannot figure it out, it makes absolutely no sense if you were to meet her. You'd *never* guess in a million years. Anyway, we just don't talk about politics pretty much, but of course she knows mine well because I make no secret of it. Plus, I tend to slip and say nasty things about BushCo and Republicans around her because I just forget that she could possibly be one. I'm telling you, it would be like finding out the guy who sings "Proud to be an American" was actually a total liberal, it's *that* counterintuitive.

Anyway, I'd been having a really bad week and she gave me the catnip toy to cheer me up because she knows how much I love my cat and I loathe Donald Rumsfeld. I have to admit, I don't think I could bring myself to buy her a Hillary Clinton chew toy for her dog.

I will ask her where she got it though. It's really hilarious.
