I haven't seen one minute of Live Earth.
There, I said it. I'm guess I'm not a good DU'er. :-(

3. Hi, terrya!

The Brazil show was just quite good.. Macy Gray's band had anti-war, anti-Bush, and anti-Cheney shirts on. Alicia Keys and Melissa Etheridge were in NY - also glad I caught them. :hi:

8. Mine has also been quiet
It will stay quiet the next couple days, with the hot temps coming. Hope you haven't had the intense heat the west has had.

Not intense heat. It's bearable.

It's supposed to be in the mid 90s here tomorrow and Monday. I'm the type who's already looking forward to fall. Good talking to you, Terry. :hi:

7. I haven't either because we don't have cable TV.
I hope the best of it becomes widely available somehow.

9. No problem...
Silly to think you're not a good DUer. I think most people watching today are basically music fans. And you're obviously not.

No big deal.

13. I am listening to the Prairie Home Companion instead....
Got the AC cranked up and it is great in here. Yes, I know that electricity is bad for global warming, but it sure beats me getting heatstroke. It's warmer out here in the western burbs and humid as hell.

15. I've been watching some movies from Netflix.
I, um, had the air on for a while, also. I know it's bad for global warming.

16. I am certain that many people watching Live Earth....
are doing it from air-conditioned comfort. At least, you and I have confessed to not watching it from air-conditioned comfort.

And I have a window of walls facing west on the long side of the place....it'd be unbearable in here without the air. I also have closed the blinds facing west.

17. True enough.
My apartment is on the 17th floor of the building. It does get unbearable up here when it gets hot.

14. You aren't really missing much.
I've been watching for a few hours now and it's not been very good. Right now there is a fucking choir on one channel and the horrendous Dave Matthews on the other.

20. I've been watching it all day
and so far, I haven't seen anything I thought was great.

Two airings of Duran Duran, two airings of Rihanna, Ludacris, AFI, and right now Fallout Boy is sucking up the stage.

21. I liked Duran Duran....
in the 80's.

Unfortunately, this is the 21st century.

No, doesn't sound like I'm missing all that much.
