7. I got a very nice letter of apology a few days after Lorena Bobbitt was acquitted.

Somebody told someone I was a different woman now. Somebody told someone I wasn't a victim anymore. Somebody told someone I was strong and taking charge, doin what needed doin. Someone was gettin sorta nervous and then Ms Bobbitt got off for bobbing it.

Never answered that letter. Didn't even keep it around to gloat over. Sometimes, the best you can do is to do nothing but know the truth. Let any garbage rot on its own. Living well really IS the best revenge. Letting it all slip from your mind as you go on to better things is the sweetest wine.
