My daughter just did the nicest thing

She got married last year in early June and when we returned from the wedding, there was a Father's Day card in the mailbox from her and her new husband for my boyfriend. Which was really sweet.

This year there was no card and this morning, she emailed me with a message for him - she just started a new job and is going to school full time and she forgot Father's Day for everyone. She wanted to let him know that "I don't need a special day to think of you as another father" and to wish him a belated Father's Day.

I just thought that was really thoughtful. :)
