Who can I move in with?
I'm well quiet and well behaved. I can pay my share of the bills and don't mind helping with the housework. I can iron my own shirts and I always wipe up any dribble in the bathroom.

I have a freeper grill and the weather is better.

Course you'll have to put up with TM, BM and BabyM, plus the HP and the dogs. However, I can assure you, it will be WAY worth it.

31. I have the contractor coming over Tuesday to discuss the same.
:scared:

The first one wanted me to rip everything out, but my cabinet boxes are solid wood and I just want new fronts, and hardware.

I do need more storage space, so I drew up a plan for that, but I'm not looking forward to this. It takes me FOREVER to make a decision like this, and when we finished doing the attic in 2004, THAT is when I started the ideas for the kitchen.

Three years later. Yeah, I'm pretty slow at this. I just don't want to make a costly or aesthetic mistake.

15. Arent you in London, the question should be, "who can move in with you?"
there are many here in the States who want to get out, myself included.

For the record I can make mean pasta dishes and only need a small window ledge to sleep on. :)

103. Like the saying "little ducks"
As in: Mother said, "if you don't stop that right now, it's going to be LITTLE DUCKS!"

Heck, I was grown before I knew what it meant. I mean I knew what it MEANT, but as a kid I'd always thought it had something to do with

I finally figured out it had to do with

as the mom tried to whack you upside the head - or any other body part she could reach - you'd be ducking and dodging and weaving.

(Note: This was eons ago when it was acceptable to smack your kids around.)

It sounds like I was beat a lot. I wasn't - but I sure thought I was gonna be. Though I did get a few whuppins. Tweren't never my fault, neither. It was my brothers!!

I'm doing okay considering I had the worst dreams last night. Truly awful. Woke up twice screaming. I even woke my son up - who started yelling at the dog to be quiet.

I actually bought some new clothes yesterday. :woohoo: and I'm starting to feel a little motivated to "do stuff". Now if I can just figure out where to start with getting this house in order!! yikes. I didn't realize it was sooooooooo bad. There's so much to do I don't know where to start. I know - one room at a time.

your dreams sound awful  do you remember them? Waking up screaming sounds like a really bad one, twice. :(

My sister was ALWAYS at fault for me getting in trouble, and actually many times she did set me up, and she was good at that...

I didn't get a lot of whuppins either, but a few. I think my true whuppins ended the day my mother broke the yardstick on my butt and I laughed at her. Not the best move on my part. Groundings became the new rule and that worked better at that age.

Well good luck with your cleaning and good to hear you are feeling some motivation! :woohoo: for you!

Sleeping in the basement and watching cats stalking the mice in said basement?

You can always move in with me...it's a barrel of laughs.

until you pick a perfect home from above :)

You may have to wrestle a horse-like dog each night for his spot. Oh, about this "iron" contraption, you better bring yours with you.

and a large yard to play around in. :-)

Plus the weather is lovely -- shorts for 8 out of 12 months.

The kitchen needs a redo, but it's my little southern country haven and you're welcome to share.

59. Wadda about me?
My garden is in full bloom and I have English blood in my veins. And I have three cats, one rabbit, and a 23y/o son. We'll kick him out and you can take his room. }( (Sure you can be confident that you won't be booted out for the next best thing.)

But please, if you're going to eat baked beans on toast before noon, warn me so I don't wander into the kitchen to see such an abomination. Other than that, if you can live with three cats and a beagle, we're good.

I have plenty of room. You can take your pick of two empty bedrooms. Plus you will have your own private bath so what you do with your dribbles is no concern of mine.

Note to self: Pretend not to know who Inhofe & Coburn are if he asked.
