8. Life would be much better if it were the Rolling Stones, wouldn't it?
I mean, like, a real rock band.

11. I'd rather see a Britney Spears concert than the Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones because irrelevant to me since they starting putting out crap shit since mid-1980s

15. The Rolling Stones are one of the best live acts I've ever seen
The Stones are now, and have always been, a performance band. At the concert I was at, they won the crowd in the first couple minutes of the concert, and never let up. Very intense.

The reality is that they perform the Stones old classic material in concert, so you don't have to worry about hearing the "crap shit" you don't like.

And they have always put out uneven records most of their career; they are like power-hitters who swing, and miss a lot, but when the connect, they knock the ball out of the park. Many of the best rock songs ever.

and the worst things they've recorded are better than Britney Spears best, so it is a non-comparison.

12. I'm very excited about this tour! I'm seeing him elsewhere.
I can hardly wait!

I've seen the Gilmour Floyd three times, but never Waters in any context - and so finally I am!

13. A little trivia for you LynneSin
It was on this day in 1972 that Floyd started recording that album.

14. I saw that show last summer
Great, GREAT show. :bounce:

We had lawn seats so we couldn't see very well but it was fabulous.

I have tickets to see him again on June 19th and I started calling for tickets at the crack of dawn - got good ones. So this time, I can see and hear.

Have a blast! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
