2. Yeah, I'm not sure where we'll get it...

The local shelter has an insanely complicated adoption system, and it's 100 bucks right off the bat. My mother does have 3 adorable ones that I think are taken, but if not, we might get one of those, Sniffa fell in love with them a few weeks ago.

8. Get a Shelter Baby!

We've had ours for six years this June. She's a mostly Maine Coon polydactyl calico, a big, fuzzy, goofy girl. We "inherited" our tabby when my wife, a Big Sister volunteer, agreed to take in her "little's" cat when they moved.
