I still have mixed feelings about the war. I am not sure what Congress can do as long as the Chimperor is in the White House. Personally I feel that this measure just gives Republicans more rope and expect (hope) the voters will leave them twisting slowly in the wind in 2008.

It is the DEMOCRATS who are going to pay for this. People expect this crap from Bush, and they elected Democrats to stand up to him. Instead, the Democrats are conforming to EVERY FUCKING STEREOTYPE that I've argued against for years.

My father, a Republican who voted for Bush twice, voted straight Democrat this last election. Now he's going right back.

The Democrats are not doing what they were elected to do. They got a little resistance, and they caved.

It is the Democrats who will be twisting slowly in the wind in '08 thanks to this vote.
