kinda trip-hoppy, you might want to try Portishead's self titled album, Massive Attack's album "Mezzanine" or Tricky's album "Maxinquaye".

you might also check out Lovage's "songs to make love to your old lady by" and Nathaniel Merriweather's "Wanna Buy a Monkey". THe group Olive is pretty good too.

4. Yes, I love Cottonwool and Gorecki
The first two albums by Lamb are great, the self-titled Lamb and Fear of Fours.

Other worthy considerations:

GusGus: "Polydistortion" and "This Is Normal"
Hooverphonic: "Blue Wonder Power Milk"
Underworld: "Beaucoup Fish"
Laika: "Sounds of the Satellites"
Splashdown: "Red Shift" (I saw them open for Lamb once, fantastic!)
Madalay: "Solace"
Bent: "Programmed to Love"
Esthero: I can't remember the name of the album
Moloko: "Do You Like My Tight Sweater?"
Morcheeba: Any of their albums are good

And, my favorite: Moodrama, "Basement Music"

Enjoy!

8. Yes, that is it, Breath From Another
I can't find my copy! It is very good. I saw her four times when she was endlessly promoting her album. Then she was dropped by her label, and I heard she was dating Howard Stern (briefly), then she fell off the map.

6. I think they're amazing
I normally listen to some pretty aggressive stuff so Lamb is always a nice change of pace.Fear of Fours is mandatory late night listening.
