Tell me how you like it? Do you use the wi-fi portable phones? Do they work well? I really could have used one in Europe last month!

1. I use it only on my laptop

always seems to be a lot of noise like sleigh bells. But what the heck, it's free. Built-in mike and speakers.

2. I use it at work to talk to sales people all over the world...

It works great. Only thing wrong is that it uses your computer as a gateway for other users to connect and the IT people don't like it much.

Use headphones with a mic.....the sound coming out from your speakers is picked up by a standard microphone and creates an echo for the person on the other end.

3. we use it to call Europe ...

my wife was on business in Sweden, we chatted for free for a couple of hours. Occasionally there would be some phasing, where there would be a time delay to hear responses. That was a couple years ago, and it may be better now.

She has used it to do computer-to-phone in Switzerland, something like $.02/minute.
