24. I just bought my first pair.

They were part of the 9.50 worth of clothes I bought at the church rummage sale. Wore 'em yesterday for the first time. Felt odd in 'em, for some reason, but they were cool on a very warm day.

I don't see anything wrong with them -- they can really be a nice alternative to shorts and skirts. I know *some* people don't like the way they look, but is there some other reason they're supposedly verboten?
