DH and I haven't had to fly since 2002 (and we loved it that way) but now he's got to take a trip. So I'm editing his bag for him (he packed it, I'm making sure he didn't miss anything.)

I've got his little bottles of goo in a quart sized zip bag, but do I need to put his disposable razor in that same bag, too? (No, he's not checking anything. It's a short trip and a short flight, though he has to be there overnight.)

5. I normally do, but after our last flight...
Lost bags sent to Botswanaland, flights delayed for long, long days... It was bad.

So he made the decision. Little bag, only carry-on.

We just had carry on bags and the razors were in there without problem. They didn't have to be with the liquids.

edit: oops... SarahBelle here

4. Thanks, but we don't smoke.
And he's headed to LA area... so really no need to smoke -- it's all in the air anyway.

6. shhhhhhhhhhh
Please do not let let TSA know that lighters don't show up on the metal detector. I breezed by when I left one in my pocket but got the full pat down when I tried to go through wearing a nicotine patch.
