Whatever you do, do not try the ol' "act like an ass and make her dump you" routine. It never works. Also, do not try anything in the bedroom that you think would make her freak out and dump you. It will only bite you in the ass.....literally and figuratively. If you do not like her that much, just break up the old fashioned way. It's hard at first but it will turn our best in the long run.

It might simply be a "definition" thing. One of my sisters has a significant other who is kind of an idiot. They see each other exclusively, sleep together regularly, talk on the phone multiple times a day, and yet, they aren't "boyfriend/girlfriend" because THOSE WORDS imply a "commitment" and he's not ready to go there. I'm hoping she dumps his butt, because she's far too good for him, and while she's busy wasting her energy with this "special friendship", she's too classy to look at all the better stuff around her. But he is all self-righteous because he's been "honest" about stuff (when in reality he's just jumped in the river of De-Nile because he can't deal with the reality of life/face up to his responsibilities for being in a relationship).

But, my sister's situation probably has nothing to do with this thread, because idiots like that guy are few and far between, right?
