Pot roast is in the oven
It already smeels good, just after cooking the onions and garlic, and searing the meat.

3. I would be more than happy to have someone to share it with
I've decided not too brood about being abandoned. I'm going to enjoy my pot roast, and I'm going to enjoy the leftovers.

I've managed to keep pretty busy today, so I wasn't that lonely after all.

4. LOL-- I have THREE roasts cooling in my oven right now...
...because the local grocer had a massive meat sale but my freezer is pretty full. So I cooked three of them in my biggest pot-- now I have to invite folks for dinner soon!

6. Wow! Pot roast.
I usually use a little thyme, or maybe some rosemary.

7. So, for the record
it was outstanding. I'm betting those browned potatoes will make awesome homefries.
